Catching up from the business...

It's been a while since I've posted. I haven't had the motivation as I have been recovering from my wife's sister being in town as well as my wife's best friend's boyfriend crashing on our couch. It was so much fun having guests and people and constantly doing things, and exploring Chicago more and more.

Sadly, I have been slacking on Photochallenges. So to make up for it, I will assault you with all of the ones I did while being so ridiculously busy.

Day 298/365 - Broken

This was a plate that we accidentally chipped while doing dishes...

Day 297/365 - LED's (not done...)

Day 296/365 - Box

This is a box of Chopsticks we get as a wedding present from Rosie Honeybun. Thanks Rosie!

Day 295/365 - Rule of Thirds (click here for more info)

This was in Argo Tea downtown in Chicago's Loop! Anna is in the background.

Day 294/365 - Window Display
This one is more of a joke as it reads "WOW BAO HOT ASIAN BUNS" yes. It is a restaurant in The Loop in Chicago.

Day 293/365 - Calculator (not done...)

Day 292/365 - Motion Blur
This was down on the North River of the Loop, at the base of the Lilypad Apartments.

Day 291/365 - Telephone (not done...)

Day 290/365 - Indigo
Flowers in the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Truly an amazing escape right in the winter.

Day 289/365 - Charcoal
Lamborghini outside the Gold Coast Bentley and Lamborghini dealership just a couple blocks from our house, great place to shoot Ferarris, Bentleys, Lamborghinis and Rolls Royces. They had a Bugatti Veyron, but it was sold already.

Day 288/365 - Auburn
Another flower at the Conservatory. This was one of the most beautiful orchids, I have yet to do any post-production work on this one.

Day 287/365 - Khaki (not done...)

That's that. Eat it, chew it up and swallow. I need to get back on the horse.
Feel free to comment and tell me what you think, or how I could compose these better. Thanks!

Challenge 286/365 - Silver

The challenge was "Silver" I thought I would take a picture of the greatest pen in the world.

On other notes, we made pico de gallo last night. Here's some Jalepeno:

Let's try a photo!

This was taken in the pitch black room, my wife had gotten these earlier in the morning at the farmers market. So, yeah.

PHOTOCHALLENGE 2009!!!

My wife has been on me about using my camera, so, I finally got up the gumption and saw that a friend had started a challenge that he personally had, then shared with others. In order to get better, he challenged himself, and posted it. It grew and grew and is now, photochallenge.org.
I started this to share these photos, and to see if I can do it... let the challenge begin.
